Last week I had the pleasure of working with Sonia Baines, the brains behind RagsRevisited. A recent graduate of the fashion institute of technology, Sonia's inspiration comes from styling and re-working thrifted clothing that catches her eye. Today, the focus was how she injected some life into a modest pair of jean shorts.
All of the outfits, and any alterations made to them are done by her alone; she even posts step-by-step instructions for her custom pieces so that others can follow or make changes how they see fit. Whether she's reworking a tuxedo shirt, or turning an old polka-dot dress into a stylish two-piece, Sonia promotes using fashion as a way to find yourself. Give her a visit.
